A Question About Recovery Of Data.

I recieved A Mail which have this question. i want to share with you. read it.

When i boot my PC up and try to go into and folder windows explorer crashes.

The hard disc is about 7 years old, it could of finally had it.

Is there anyway i can get some files from my documents with out it crashing?

Then I give the answer.

  1. If your planning to format the drive or throw it out he window..
get yourself bootable live cd of linux or so and try to copy them from there.. It could be windows only.
  2. Try this software GetDataBack its avaible for both NTFS and FAT32 ..if u ahve a spare HDD install OS into that and connect this hdd to that .. then try this! i had my files deleted by mistake once and used getback data to recover few of the files:)
  3. Try a repair install with your OS CD
OR, try a system restore to a point before you had the problem.
